Area Definitions

Carpet Area:
The actual usable floor area where you can lay a carpet. It excludes the thickness of inner walls but includes the space occupied by internal fixtures.
Built-up Area:
Carpet area plus the area covered by walls, balconies, and other enclosed spaces. Typically 10-15% more than carpet area.
Super Built-up Area:
Built-up area plus proportionate share of common areas like lobby, stairs, elevators, and amenities. Also called "Saleable Area."
